Hi, first I want to say that this is wonderful CMS, but there is a tiny problem.
I am Bulgarian and I've changed the charset=iso-8859-1 to charset=windows-1251 (cyrillic for Bulgarian, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarus and Serbian)
changed the language in tinymce and everything works fine. But unfortunately when I change the title of a page with cyrllic letters the encoding goes wrong. When I write "Начало" it returns Íà÷àëî. In the structure.dta the same word is written Íà÷àëî. In the txt file tinymce writes everything correctly.
There is a place somewhere in the scripts where I can configure this, but I don't know where it is.
P.S. I've searched "Babel" plugin in sourceforge.org, but I could't find it.

Hi,
Replace zite.php with this version, it support unicode in titles
and configuration files.

Babel is available at the following address http://dl.dropbox.com/u/343247/babel.zip
It only allows creating a website in different languages. It still has some bugs.
Hope it helps,
Regards,
Michael

I replaced zite.php with the new one. Zite stopped to work. I downloaded babel, but I don't know how to install and use it. If CMS of this type is just a toy, it should be designed for that children could use it.
I am sorry to say, but this very promising, fast and "cute" for small sites CMS is entirely useless for me. I don't understand it.
Best regards,
Bate Zarko
P.S. I'd like not to be misunderstood. My personal site contains more than 500 pages and 2500 files and is written completely by hand.

I'm sorry that this pre-release version didn't work. But it was just a test, not for production use.
Some people that had problems with Zite called for help but I had to test 4 different changes before
it worked.
You can always put the original zite.php back.
What is your hosting provider and PHP version?
Can you detail what works or don't since you replace zite.php file. That might help me
to resolve the problem and all the community could get the benefits of it.
If you need help using ZiteCMS, don't hesitate to ask. There always be someone to help you.
To install Babel, unpack the zip file and upload its contents (the folder and its content) to
your site using FTP inside the zplugins folders. Next ZiteCMS version will have a plugin
installer.
When uploaded, modify the configuration adding babel to plugins (Greffons) key.

Michael
